This makes sense; social networks enable people to rely on the views and thoughts of others so they can supply right answers to questions without having to think. Seems sensible.
I don't think there's much new though. It sounds a lot like plagiarism vs original work. So there probably isn't any great cause for alarm.
But for individuals, the implications are less positive. Social networking probably isn’t making you smarter. In fact, it could be making you dumber by supplying answers and insights without requiring any actual thinking, so that your analytic powers begin to waste away like an unused muscle.
